Faux Tile Technique

​

In this class we will create cards that look like a tiled wall/faux tile. This technique is simple, but effective and can be used on all sorts of cards like sympathy, mens, Christmas etc

 

We will start off by scoring card to look like a tiled wall, then stamp over the top with a variety of stamps. Finish off with sentiments and embellishments.

​

Feel free to bring any stamps with you to this class. If you don't own any, plenty will be available to use.

Clean and Simple Mixed Media

(with Texture Paste and Enchanted Sprinkles)

This class is Nat's take on mixed media but in a clean and simple way.

​

In this class we will use enchanted sprinkles (like pixie powders) to colour die cuts, white texture

paste on white card to create a faux embossed look, and use enchanted sprinkle and texture paste together to create a fun background.

Feel free to bring any stencils with you to this class. If you don't own any, plenty will be available to use.

 

** please note:- Although heat guns will be available to speed the drying process up,

the class uses mediums that require lots of drying, so we may only make

elements in this class, that can be assembled into cards at home, once dry. **

Back to Basics - Mens Cards using Shapes

In this class we will go back to basics. Mens cards are always hard to make,

especially if they have no hobbies or interests. 

 

In this class we will use various shaped nesting dies and punches to create patterns and simple cards that are ideal for men, but with different colours and embellishments can be adapted for any occasion.
