Modern Christmas Cards
Why not get creative with your border craft dies, to create simple modern backgrounds.
Cut out from scraps of card, or use your inks to create a blended background.
These cards are a great way to use up scraps of card, but also for batch making cards.
The blue card uses Distress Oxide inks to blend a background with white die cuts. The green card uses card scraps and uses the negative to create a card. Keep the green tree die cuts to create another card (2 for 1)

Road Sign "60" birthday card
Get creative with smaller craft dies.
Why not use them to create a background, or create a "wreath style" card.

Vintage Motorbike
Use a large shape craft die to create an aperture for a vintage bike die cut.

Vintage Bike and Road Map
Faux wood burning technique is a great way to create a vintage background. Stamp with a water based ink pad, and spray with water, to make it move slightly. Let dry, then restamp over the top with a pigment ink pad (versafine).

Men's Circle Pattern 2
Struggle with men's cards if they don't have any hobbies or interests? Why not create a pattern using a circle punch and some paper scraps. Cut the circles in half and quarters to create a pattern. Use different textures and patterns of card/ paper to add interest.

Biker Card
Using enchanted sprinkles
over a stenciled background using white texture paste is a great way to create interesting backgrounds.

Spring Flowers
Fancy making a circle out of your stamps, but don't have a fancy rotating stamping platform...
Here is how you can create this card without one.
Instructions:-
• Cut your card down to your preferred size. Measure the edge to find the middle. Draw a vertical and horizontal line.
• Place your stamps on line at 0 and 90 degrees, I fill the gap with any other stamps. Ink up your stamps and stamp on to your card. Leave the stamps on the platform lid, but rotate the card 90 degrees every time until you have a complete circle

Flower Spotlight Embossing
Spotlight technique is a great way to give a new life to stamps, embossing folders etc.
Die cut a panel out of your card. Emboss in one go, and colour the die cut panel, in your favourite medium. On this sample we have coloured with Distress Inks and Gilding Polish.

Garden Shed Card
A perfect fun shaped card suitable for garden lovers. This card has a few elements to create a shaped card, but is worth the effort.
Instructions:-
Cut and score a piece of kraft card to 5"x7". Mark at the top of the card at 2.5" with a pencil, and measure 2.5" on the horizontal side of the card on each side. Match the dots up with a ruler and draw a line. You now have a pointed tip on your card. Cut these lines off with your trimmer.
Next cut a piece of craft card approx 4" x 2.5". This is your shed door. Score lines on this piece of card and the pointed card front on your score board approx 1cm apart, to create a wood look. Take a brown ink pad and rub over the top, to highlight the score lines.
Cut 2 strips of card to 1.3cm x 11cm, and a small square die cut. Glue these strips along to the top of your card, trim off the access. Cover the join with a small square die cut. Adhere your door to the front of the card blank. Your card should now start to look like a garden shed.
Die cut your wheelbarrow, tools and grass out of white card, and colour with your favorite medium (we have used alcohol markers). Glue and 3D foam to your card front.
Finish your card off with a sentiment sign and gems

3D Tile Cards
When you want to make a card, but you just don't know what you want to make.
Why not try 3D tile cards using Woodware tile die sets.
This is my go to card when I want to make something, but not sure what.
