Arched Bertie Christmas Card

Francoise Read from Woodware stamps creates the cutest Christmas Stamps! 2026 she introduced Bertie the bear as a character, and the Christmas stamps are no exception! Here I have created an arched card with a star background, that can be coloured in many different colourways.

How I made the card

• Take an arched card blank from Katy Sue Designs, and ink blend on the front with a blending brush and ink pad. I have used Distress Ink Prize Ribbon. But you can use any colour or medium that is your favourite.

  
  

• Place your inked card blank into your stamping platform. Take the star background stamp, and place in your stamping platform, ink up with the same ink pad (used for blending) and stamp on to your card. You will need to need to do this several times, and move the stamp to cover all the card.

  
  

  TOP TIP: You can use different colours if you prefer, or heat emboss the star background. Just make sure the blended background is fully dry.

  
  

• Using the arch craft die from Woodware Tattered Arch Craft Die Set, die cut out of white card and silver mirror card.

• Using the white inner part on the arched die, stamp Bertie the bear in the centre. Stamp two presents on a piece of scrap white card.

• Once stamped, colour with alcohol markers. Colour the presents and fussy cut out. Adhere the presents to the background with 3D foam. Then glue or tape the arch panel to your card blank.

• Take the outer white and silver arched border and glue together. This gives the border some more depth. Glue to your card.

• Finish your card off with a silver foiled Merry Christmas die cut from Katy Sue Designs.
