Cute Reindeer Christmas Card

2 min read

Why not make use of those nesting dies we have in our stash, and create fun shape card blanks. They are quick to make and make your cards stand out. I am loving Francoise Read new 2026 Christmas collection, they are just too cute!

Fishing Jacket Card Idea
Modern Bauble Pattern Christmas Card

How I made the card

  • Take a piece of blue A4 card and score in half on your scoreboard, to make an A5 card. Take the largest rectangle with one curved edge die from the set, and place on your folded card blank. Remember to slightly offset the die on the folded edge. Run through your die cutting machine, you now have a fun shaped card blank.

  • Take the next size down rectangle die from the set and die cut out of white card. Stamp your reindeer bear in the center, and stamp "IT'S CHRISTMAS" sentiment on the vertical.

  • Using a blending brush and Distress Ink Mustard Seed, ink blend around the edges of the card. Using the two small star stamps in the set, stamp stars (in the same ink) over the blended background.

TOP TIP: You can use different colours if you prefer, or heat emboss the star background. Just make sure the blended background is fully dry.

  • Colour your image with alcohol markers. (Or your medium of choice).

  • Glue or tape your coloured panel to your card blank, you now have a cute Christmas card
