Layer die cuts to create a faux stained glass look, or if you like the look of paper piecing, but is too fiddly, this gives the look of paper piecing too!

How I made the card
Die cut the holly octagon out of white card and gold mirror card. ( you can do the gold mirror layer in any colour, white, silver, red)

Glue your white die cut to a piece of card, and colour in the gaps with your prefered colouring medium. Here I have used alcohol markers.
(Don't worry and colouring in the lines, this doesn't have to be neat)

Once coloured, glue the gold mirror die cut over the top of the coloured image and cut out.

Create a gold mirror and white mat and layer to fit on to a A6 card blank. Glue the holly wreath into the centre, and stamp your sentiment in black. Finish off with blue gems.
TOP TIP: if you dont' have blue gems, use a blue alcohol marker to colour clear gems.
This Creative Expression die, is great to use all year around, especiallly the frame. Here I have created a card blank using the outter octagon die, and the lace frame die to create a frame out of pearl card, to make a lovely handbag card.

I hope you have enjoyed reading how to make this card. I'll list the products I've used below.
